Growing up in Napa Valley I have decades long attachments to certain areas, landmarks, and locations- the Stags Leap District is one such place. As long as I can remember I have loved this little enclave, the stunning palisades, the way golden hour hits, the satisfying juxtaposition of the vineyard rows. I can't totally explain it, but it's special, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when I was when Treasury Wine Estates hired to shoot this epic property that captured my little girl heart so many years before. Over the course of almost a decade, I wandered every inch of the Stags' Leap estate, through every season, at every hour of the day. To date, many of the images that I captured on this property remain some of my most favorite, and without question this property holds a special place in my heart.
