Congratulations to Mira Winery on your 2012 Schweizer Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon being named Beverage Tasting Institute Red Wine of the Year as just announced in Forbes!
The Schweizer vineyard is one of the oldest producing vineyards in Napa Valley, and has been in the Schweizer family since 1956. This 42 acre gem is located in the heart of the Stags Leap District, just near the base of the Stags Leap Palisades of the Vaca mountain range.
I had the pleasure of shooting the Schweizer Vineyard for Mira Winery on a few separate occasions, and I simply fell in love with the magic of the property.
